Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a third person shooter taking place in the open world environment of Auroa, a fictional island chain in the Pacific Ocean. I joined the project in December 2018 when I first started working at Ubisoft Romania as a QC Game Tester. After 9 months with the testing team, I applied for an open Level Design position and started work as part of the development 2 weeks before the game's release. My initial tasks as a junior Level Designer included testing existing areas in the open world for the game's PvP multiplayer component. To that end, I tested dozens of locations and helped with the entity setup for 4 maps that shipped post launch.
